What does a race ecm do for the ULY? MPG? Power? Cost? Will it do anything for the bike with the stock muffler?

Not sure you can run it without an aftermarket pipe. I noticed some pretty good gains with the race ecu and race pipe.
More topend thats forsure.

Race ECM - Makes the Uly run the way it should have in factory trim, no pings, smooth power delivery, etc.

I average approximately 50 MPG.

My Uly was delivered with the Race ECM, Muffler, air filter (since changed to American Sportbike open filter kit) so I could not personally speak on the difference in power delivery.

The Race ECM cannot be used with the stock muffler, to my knowledge. Good luck

I think I remember someone saying they tied the exhaust valve open and ran the Race ECU. It does not actuate the valve like the stock ECU does.

Chad's right. You can use the stock muffler with the valve wired open. Otherwise, you will get unwanted restriction.

If you're going for the ECM, you might as well get a pipe and freer breathing filter as well.

What is the cost of the ecm? I like quiet mufflers.
