Just wondering if I have any other Uly riders in my neck O the woods. I am in Madison County Virginia. I am lucky that all I have to do is pick a direction and have great roads all around me. Just wondering if I am the lone UlyHead around here?

I am a previous Uly owner and I am a couple of hours away in Blacktone. My Uly was up your way several times last year. There is a black Uly in Richmond and one in Blacksburg. I still have the software if you need to pull/clear codes or get a TPS reset.

Thanks I appreciate that. I just keep reading all these posts from the left coast and unfortunately I do not see many Buells in this area. Usually its the kids in tanktops on bikes they have no business being on or the Harley crowd (which I also happen to belong to).

There is a red xb12 near Blackstone but other than that not many Buells. Lots of Metric and HD's. I replaced my Uly with a KLR650. I needed a knock around bike that I felt like I could tear up. T have a Ultra when I need to go far and a Sporty when I feel the need for speed and torque. The KLR is no Uly but it gets me where I need to go and it is a very capable, comfortable, durable and versatile bike. I will give you a shout the next time we ride up your way.

Ironically, when I was shopping for a used Ulysses a year ago. The only ones' for sale were on your coast. :-)

Hooliken - We are south of you. Keep an eye out but you are in between three active groups. The closest is the DC-VA-MD group just north of you. Then there is the Roanoke group and us C3'ers to the south. I know it won't be an afternoon ride, but we plan some bigger riders in and out of southern VA.

Just an update....you would think that this is the first bike forum I have ever belonged to. After sitting here on a rainy day it dawned on me that Badweb might have a couple O regional forums. Just like that with a couple of key strokes I was in the right neighborhood.

Just so everyone knows. If anyone wants to explore my area my home and garage are always available. I like nothing more than spending time with those that are "better traveled than myself." I live in a truly amazing part of the country to be a rider and I would love to share me stoke for it with others.

thanks,
Ken

An Orange Uly and a Red Duc will be moving to the Lexington area this Fall. Stay tuned...

Just a couple of weeks ago, I found out one of my neighbors has a Black Uly. He lives about 10 houses down, and due to our work patterns, it took about 8 months for us to figure it out.

The Uly density in my neighborhood is now dangerously high, so it might be a good time to move.

Kc69xich,
You would be another Uly in Blacksburg. I was referring to a VT guy that I learned about at Duncan Honda. Glad to know there is another one up there. Stop by when you ride through the flat lands.
