Yesterday afternoon my daughter and I went on a nice little ride up Lookout Mountain. It's only about a 20 minute ride up, but there are some serious switchbacks on the way. At the top is "Buffalo" Bill Cody's grave site, little restaurant and gift shop, and some of the most beautiful views of the Denver metro area. Anyone traveling through Denver might want to make this a little side tour!

Notice the grin following a twisty ride on a Buell!

My daughter loved it too, plus everyone enjoys a little snack time mid ride snack that is a tradition with going on a ride with Dad!

It is a sweet ride except when there are to many bicycle riders. I rode that last summer and it is fun. The loop over and through Evergreen then back down to Morrison is a fun ride as well. Weekends there are alot of people on that loop though. Nice pictures Max.
Will have todo that loop with you sometime.
I might ride down to Highlands Ranch to my bros and watch the UFC fight tonight. To bad I dont have my ZG on!!!!

You guy's are starting to upset me talking about Co. roads. It's been 3 years since I have been out that way to ride. Was doing it every year for 9.
CCreek up to Deckers over to Bailey then 285 to 24/285 just outside of Salida and head west.Gunnison to Paonia,
or South and take in the beauty of Ouray
down to Silverton and Durango.Orrrrr,
Come out of Paonia South to Hotchkiss and hit 92 to Crawford to Joe Cockers place'if it is still there'!
I love Co.and all the roads and leaving CC to Victor and down the Gold Camp road,so much but better than Iowa and corn and beans!!!!
I envy you guy's...Maybe a road trip vacation this year instead of South.
Thanks for the memories.
G.

I have always felt a bit nervous, taking my kids on the bike. I always worried if anything happened. As a result, they have not ridden with me much

At the same time, I look at your pict and think how much your daughter probably enjoyed being out there.

I may just break down and get my son on the Uly tomorrow.

Snowscum: Anytime!

Gearloose: Sorry, but thanks for the ideas!

Erz: There are risks with riding, but I prefer to focus on how to enjoy riding as safely as possible. I always wear, and insist the kids wear proper safety gear. The kids do enjoy it, but I get a chance to spend quality time with them, one at a time.

Joe Cocker closed his restaurant. Was out there one summer and met him and his wife. (She ran the restaurant) Excellent food and service. Beautiful ride!
