Coming home from Des Moines on Sunday morning, heading east, saw a black Uly heading west. Maybe coming home from the Conesville rodeo? First one I've seen on the road, other than mine.

Wsn't me I was in a semi heading to or from CR from Eddyville for Cargill.
Do have a blk Uly though but it was sittin in the garage.Lot of bikes out Sunday.Conesville crowd I imagine.

It wasn't me either, but, I am just south of you in Mediapolis. I don't think there are many Uly owners in SE Iowa.

Mine is in the garage for a few more days while I change it from black to red.

I just got done running Chicago->Utah and back on my black Uly. Left last Tuesday, spent the night in the quad cities, then to Denver, then Torrey, UT.

On the way home it was Torrey->Ft Morgan CO Sunday, Stayed in west DSM Monday, then home tuesday.

Wasn't me I guess. But dang, we were close by. : )

Did you run I80 across Iowa and a lot of Nebraska? If so, please accept my condolences. I've done that route to Denver in a cage and a bike. Great for making good time, awful otherwise. What's the difference between I80 in Nebraska and Iowa? The height of the corn.

I did. The heat wasn't as bad as it's been in the past. But the wind on the trip home was.

The scenery in Iowa is a bit different, more rolling hills.

Eastern Colorado is my least fav. You're all geeked about Colorado, then it's even more flat and colorless than nebraska!
