I usually ride my Road King or trailer my Bourget but this year I rode my ULY. Left early Sunday and got home (Orlando) late last night. Rode ~1200 miles. No problems, heck my bag latches didn't even break.  ULY at Savannah HD  Two pimpn dressers (OK maybe one) custom dressers appear to be the newest "IN" thing  ULY among the sea of HD's at MB HD shop  ULY at original Suck, Bang, Blow  ST. Aug on way home  ULY on A1A (Flagler Beach)  Old chopper Lots of choppers/customs at MB Rally  Spooge after ~400 miles (Drummer catch can)  Frank | ||

BRW Boy, the RSS topic will not go away. I live in the south and my fan only comes on when I shut the engine off or when stopped in traffic. I like it and would buy it again though it is rather pricey. I will end this by quoting Terry P.(Buelldyno_guy): " The bikes heat management system works well on everything except your right leg, so consider the right side scoop, using good synthetic oil and the highest octane gas you can get."  Uh oh, someone mentioned the scoop, lets get out of here. Looks like you had alot of fun. Which windscreen is that? How often do you need to empty the catch can, i just got mine installed. | ||

Frog, That is a Buell tall windshield. Works pretty good (I am 5'11" 32" inseam). I use it in winter and on trips but around town in the summer I go windscreenless. I MT my Drummer catch can every 4 or 5 fill ups. Usually looks like the picture I posted (I am guessing 80% water/20% oil). Imagine having that stuff go back into your engine especially over a years time. Everyone should have their vent lines rerouted and a RSS. Oops, I mentioned it again! Frank |
