New guy here........Donuts & Coffee are on the corner table.

I have a new to me 2006 XB12X and I have a slight dilemma. I have a problem with the hand controls & mirrors:

The links below show what I have.

Here is what I am planning to do:

¾” handlebar Riser (PN n0348.1adybp)
Touratech Spoiler on Hand Protector
New Aprila Tuono Mirrors (Expand rear viewing area)
Keep HVMP Bar Ends
Re-grip with Grand Touring USA Tacki Grips (Personal preference from my other bike)
Add Vista Cruise or equal (Thumb Operator Style Throttle Lock)
Heated grips controlled by a Heattroller.

Yes it is kinda busy.

The problem I have is this

I’d like use a standard Polly Cartridge heater for a cleaner installation (wire inside) But if I do that I loose the HVMP bar ends. Which are needed due to the Carpel Tunnel issues I have.

Can this be done with out sacrificing the HVMP bar ends.

If not I’ll have to use a Kimpex or DualStar wraparound.

Or is there a 3rd solution I’m missing (shorter Hot Grips)

Feel free to discuss.

Thx in Advance

The Polly heaters can be used with the HVMP's (someone has done it and posted a thread about it a few months ago). I use the Polly Heaters with the Heat Troller, but am waiting for the bar ends to come with an anodized black option.

Here is how I mounted my Heat Troller for my Polly Heaters and Warm-N-Safe jacket liner.

Maximum - a few people have powder coated the bar ends with good results. I imagine with the right prep they'd take paint pretty well too.

Fill you bars with bird shot....best vibration reduction you can imagine.

Make sure to run your wires first. ;)

I have both and they work fine together. It takes a bit for the heat to get out to the pinky finger end, but it does. I had the polly's first and when I got the HVMP end I just pushed them in and locked them down so the polly's are up against them. The tuono mirros are just amazingly fabulous.
