Author Message   Orangeulius Posted on Saturday, April 21, 2007 - 07:19 pm:        I got the chance to put 170 miles or so on my 06 Uly with its newly installed Buell race kit. IMHO, this is the way the bike should have been sold from the factory. The pipe has a great beefy rumble, not as loud as the Road Kings we were riding with but very authoritative just the same. Rolling on the throttle at low RPM's seemed smoother and more responsive. Riding 2 up and accelerating from 3000 RPM's failed to cause the dreaded ping I experienced last year. I also have the 07 air box which I think helped. I know a lot of people prefer their Uly quieter, but my seat of the pants observation is that the Buell race kit, ECM and pipe, is worth its weight in gold. It transforms a great bike into an awesome bike. Nuff said.
