Went for the Buell test ride on Wed. Got the bag. It is a very neat shoulder bag, I like it almost as much as the sling bag. Anyway I rode a lighning and it sure did sound different. Do they use a different pipe on that bike? it also seemed strange to put feet flat on the ground.

Pso, the exhaust outlet on the lightning and firebolt exit straight out instead of turning back toward the rear tire. The outlet also looks like lager dia. on the non-ulys (that might just be the outer pipe though). How different does the pipe sound compared to the Uly? I'll have to go try one myself. I have 2 slingbags but the shoulder bag looks like a cool brief case for work.

Pso,

Did you do the '07 airbox? Makes all the bikes sound much throatier.

I got my bag yesterday but the owner's manual was missing. All those zippers, compartments, clasps, etc. left me confused as to what they are all for. One in particular was a looped strap around the shoulder strap with the female end of a clasp. I can't find the male end or figure out what it is for. If you can scan your owner's manual and post it, I would appreciate it.

Joel- I have the air box cover and like it, for sound and peformance. Tim the pipe on the lightning just sounded better however the bike only had 400 miles on it. George-I got my bag in the plastic bag and there was no owners manual. I agree I do not know what that particuler strap is for. I have most of the rest figured out, bit I agree it would have been nice to have a little pamphlet in the bag.
