Has anyone tried the Hepco-Becker side case liners,(Journey 42L). I'm considering the purchase of these or something similar. The thought of latch failure followed by one's personal effects strewn about the highway has prompted me.

latch failure? Has that been happening to anyone?

On my R100RT I use a bungie cord on each bag, but those latches are 24 years old.

I've sideswiped a mini-van, bumped off a car and fallen on mine, just a couple of scrape marks to show for it, even though we load the bags up, no problems!

We use liners but only for the convenience of carrying them into hotels/planes!

We have the bag liners and love them. In fact they are currently packed and heading to March Badness. They are convenient for weekend trips, but we do not use them on a daily basis. Remember that when you do use them, make sure that the entire liner is in the bag so you don't end up busting a latch trying to close it.

We ordered them from eurotechmotorsports.com. I think they were around $70 each.

Also have the bag liners from Eurotech and also agree they are worth the price. Purchased the 50L topcase and the liners fit it perfectly. Going to order another one for the topcase.

I just bought one, they were kinda pricey and I'm kinda cheap.

One bag is used for large things like my tent and xtra shoes air mattress and mess kit.

I use the liner for the other side for clothing. It is easy to take the liner into the house to load. I can also take into the tent at night where I can treat myself to a clean pair of underwear or socks when ever I please!
