You can ride for countless miles as you zig zag up mountains. The wife and I rented 4wheelers and spent the afternoon covering about 40 miles! Had the 4-wheeler up in mud to my calves! Almost stuck.

Curious on how a Uly could handle some tuff trails?

Ryker77,

You can pilot a Uly down some pretty rough stuff... but it doesn't really like trails.

It is more of an all road bike, meaning gravel and dirt roads as opposed to single track and 4 wheeler trails.

The tires won't hook up in the mud and the belt drive and wheel bearings are also not the best for mud. The 17" front wheel is also a bit of a limitation in loose stuff. It is definitely more at home on the asphalt than in the dirt.

Personally, the Uly is too much of an investment for me to beat about in the bush but it can be done if you are determined.

Uly HATES Mud and Soft Soils/sand

Small Front Wheel aint Gonna Pilot the Loose Stuff Without Wanting to Low-side ya.

LOVES Hard Dirt Tracks Though n Chews up Corrugated Dirt Roads as we have here in Central Australia.
