Chad Hargis has the Renthal medium rise bars. I'm looking to either go Renthal or pro taper ala Typeone's rig. I have been using the Avon Azaro and will be spooning on it's replacement, the Storm. I have the Polly Heaters. |

I've got the Renthal mediums and the Symtec grip heaters. I'm currenlty running Michelin Pilot Powers since I've been all street and track lately. They have been great, but I will be running Pirelli Scorpion Syncs once they burn-up (which shouldn't take long) since I've got a new track machine and that puts the Uly back on Road/Trail work. I also am one of the few who didn't think the D616's were all that bad. (Message edited by smcnamara on March 08, 2007) |

Symtec grip heaters and Avon Azaros here also. I'm another one of the few who didn't mind the D616s. |

I have the Pilot Roads a good 12k mile set of tires and I too found no issues with the D616 unless your corner carving in MO or NC and then I really heated them up and I had rubber all over my rear undertail. It looked like I had been doing burn outs all day. The rubber got super soft and I could indent them with my fingers and leave perm marks on the tire. I run the CityX bars. No heat grips yet. |

Kimpex grip heaters (undergrip) $26. They work great! Getting good mileage out of my Pilot roads. I'll be putting another pair later in the spring. I'm happy with the stock bars for 90% of my riding. Tim |
