I stopped by my dealer to pick up my hat today and he had a TT in stock. The seat height of that bike is not much different than my Uly with Buell low seat. It seems to me that the Uly offers a whole lot more versatility. By the way, the Orange tank with the white fly screen and number plates looks like nothing short of a bike with junk yard parts. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Buell fan. I just don't know what they were thinking with that color combo.

I had the same reaction to the half-orange TT! Makes no sense. It was high but workable for me - I didn't even try to straddle a Uly.

Valencia is the only true orange ;) If you want to get low and dirty, try the CityX. Riding it on the bendy and dirty every chance I get.

Either white or orange. Not both.

You know, you could buy the plastic from a Lightning and make a TT red, blue, black, yellow, or even Sunset Orange. You could even put one of the transparent colors on it. It's only two pieces of plastic; the airbox cover and the flyscreen.

I find the TT has the perfect amount of suspension travel for fun aggressive riding. Awesome bike, the solo seat is awesome, lots of comfy room to move around. I think I'm gonna buy one but I can't decide what to do with the fly screen, and the side plates...paint, stickers, racing numbers...

How well does RIT work on the plastics? Is it possible to dye the Uly Orange to a darker Orange? It seems to me that with the top clearcoat finish that only the underside would get darker.

Buell plastics are the same color all the way through. I think they are made by Dupont. They aren't painted. At least not the solid color ones. Don't know about the camo or clear ones.
