Hey guys - Busted one yesterday 'just looking at it'.
Contacted my friend Greg at Auckland motorcycles. They don't know anything of the issues with the latches after a scan of official channels.
Can I point them somewhere?

OK so my latch decided to commit suicide while cruising down I-85 Saturday AM. I've seen where a number of them busted while being closed, but how many have busted while chasing after a T.W.O cheeseburger?
I've not been following this issue since it's inception -- figuring I had a good set and I was wrong.
I hate the thought of having to go through the dealer to get a 2 screw latch -- crap. Not a large enough issue to call in Court and the bungee cord look is growing on me -- crap. A wet weather suit, in it's little baggie does look pretty cool bouncing down the interstate at north of 80MPH. |
