Rumor is that there is somthing BIG in the works and the Buell fella told the guy to wait awhile before he buys one. This was before the white super TT came out. He talked to him again and said that it was cool and thanks for the heads up. Buell fella said, "NO, wait a little longer". | ||

ADD kicked in right after Daves post on the first page. There's four pages of that nonsense. ADV is a nice board totally screwed up by the fact that its loaded with SNOB's that hate anything that isnt "their" brand of motorcycle. I look around over there almost daily and have made some post's here and there . Most the time I get disgusted with either the unfounded opinions of anything HD/Buell or the lack of respect to others posts for questions or trying to sell a item. | ||

Chrisb, I don't think the snobbery is as much about brand as it is about who was here first. If you weren't one of the first 100 charter members of ADV, you really don't count for much over there among the "giants". It's a fund board, but the quality and intensity of Buell discussion there isn't nearly what it is here. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who wasn't welcomed here by just about everyone. Even Skyguy would be invited were there a barbeque!  As far as Buells are concerned, ADV is nothing more than a faint echo of Bad Web. | ||

They do have excellent ride reports with mega pics though! I have yet to find a thread in the ride reports with a Uly. iDave had an epic tale but that was in another forum and I think he's traded away from Buell already. I could be wrong: it wouldn't be the first time.  FTB, whatever happened to the Ulysses' in Ulysses KY? DO IT! NUTS | ||

I don't visit ADV that much but I agree, this board seems MUCH more "relaxed". Doesn't seem like anyone here has something to prove, there's great camaraderie, and besides most of us ride or take an interest in BUELLS! I think the Uly is as much a black sheep on ADV as it is on the HD dealer's floor. | ||

I've learned a lot in a small amount of time, thanks in part to advrider. BTW, I think most of the banter about a new Buell over there is more about winter boredom. For Christmas I received a gift card to use at the Harley dealership in Utica, NY. So after Christmas I went down and ordered a couple of the Uly T shirts listed on the Buell website. Well, today the dealer called and said that the Buell folks called and said they only had size small left and would not be getting any more. I told the dealer to change my order to the Buell T shirt, then. So the dealer called Buell again and was told they do not have them either and are not getting any more and I would just have to get a refund. What's up? This Fall they do away with BRAG, now we can't even get T-shirts from Buell. What are they doing? -Trapper  | ||
