Mine was manufactured in June 06 (which was after Buell was suppose to stop selling them), and I have no fitment issues. Definitely a great mod, if you can find one. Back in August, Daves gave me a list of vendors that might have them. I called every one of them, and only one had it left in stock. The sidestand began to hit the outlet on the left side as it became looser. After the recall, no problem.
