It is not painted but a new part (CityX comes with it) which I got from Dave (Appleton) for a to my door cost of ~$33. I got the scoop from: r.crins@gmx.net. Frank |

I don't remember exactly but it seemed pricey, maybe around $250. I hope you don't need two of those! Frank |

With the fender I am using that piece gets beat up pretty good by road debris so I decided against the painting route. I didn't want areas of grey showing through. Someone needs to try it and report back though. The stock fender might shield it better too. Frank |

I like the fact that the plastic is solid color. If it gets a scratch, no big deal...IMHO |

I just dyed my centre piece with Rit fabric dye. This method has been discussed previously for bodywork plastics. Really easy to do, and cheap. And the colour soaks in to the plastic, so won't show the stone chips! Give it a try. |
