I've seen a few posts about the Pirelli MT60. I have my eye on the AM44 from Avon. Both are 160 tires. I wonder when mounted does the tire end up flatter than its supposed to be b/c of the wider rim?
How wide is the rear rim?
How would this affect cornering?

I'm running these on my motard right now - they're great tires, but the sidewalls were so stiff that the tire shop had a hell of a time getting the beads to seat - not sure if this would be even worse on a too-wide rim.

Pirelli MT60- I put a set of these on last weekend and so far I love em. 400+ miles on the dirt, sand, highway and in a frog strangler getting to/from work. No issues as far as I'm concerned. Don't recommend them for a track day but then again who would, that isn't what they were designed for. Mileage will determine if these are a keeper for me or not. 4500 miles and the 616 rear was shot. Might have been able to eke out another 500 miles but not worth the risk IMO.
