FYI, before you update to J make sure you save the H version! It appears that the J version no longer has AFV or ECM-ECU O2! The AFV and O2 channels seemed to work well on the H version. Hi, I bought the Vehicle Diagnostic Scan Tool from Daves a month or so back but have been working away from home and therefore have not installed it. Does anyone have the H version that they could send to me please? Thanks | ||

Glenn, You can go directly to the website and down load the updates after you have purchased the software from American Sport Bike. If your version came with one cable then you have the "Standard" version and the latest update is "J" as well. Here is the link to get the update. You need to have the original version installed then go to: http://www.technoresearch.com/downloads-VDSTS.htm Select download Then save it to a download folder Then go to the file and select the VDSTS-zip Open the compressed file then select setup.exe You must do this once to un-install the current version and once to install the new one. Now the point of this post was that if you have the AFV and ECM-ECU O2 as channels then do not down load the New 2.81 J because you will loose those options. I have contacted TR about the issue. 2.81 L shows the channels but I can not get my Pro USA version to connect. After re-instsalling 2.81-H I can connect and read AFV and O2 again. Can anyone else get an AFV or ECM-O2 reading with 2.81-L? | ||

See if you have AFV and ECM-O2 as a channel selection. If you do, then do not download the update until you save your current zip drive as a back up. I save my last zip by renaming it as a back up. | ||

Aeholton, It would be a good idea to check your current AFV. Your stock ECM has a stored value near 110. I think it is 109.5. I will check it again and verify the results. | ||

M-Beta is out and I am still not able to read AFV or ECM-O2 with the USA pro version. Is there anyone else out there looking at AFV? Version J is the last version that works for me with my new cable. |
