Al at American Sport Bike emailed me today that blocked Buellton rooms are gone, serves me right for dragging my butt. So I just reserved three 2-bed n/s (hopefully ground floor as requested) rooms at the Lompoc (16 mi away) Motel 6 at I'net price ($35.99 + tax, 1 occupant), for Sat night 10/14/06. This is how we did it at Laguna Seca in the past, although sometimes a YEAR in advance! There were always takers at the track for face price, no scalping involved. Brotherhood of the bike. So I'll keep these reserved until Friday midafternoon 10/13/06. If interested pm me and we can dial in the reservation transfer.
