I'm going to be in Arizona week after next for a few days while my wife is at a seminar in Flagstaff. I've found a place that rents a wide variety of bikes in Scottsdale and one Harley/Buell dealer near Flagstaff, but all they rent are big wallowing cruiser and dresser type Harleys, definitely not my cuppa tea. Anyone know where I can rent something of a sporting nature in or around Flagstaff? A Uly would of course be ideal, but anything nimble for the mountain twisties would do... | ||

I rented a CityX from Hacienda HD/Buell back in January. They are in Scottsdale. It was the ONLY Buell they had as a rental and it looked like it was ridden hard and put away wet. I beat the piss out of it for 3 days. | ||

I found a loaner bicycle, but no Buells...heading up to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon today. Lows up there will be about 30 and highs around 60. Alas, I did not bring cold weather riding gear, even if I found a bike up there. If my work schedule hadn't been so hectic prior to this trip and I hadn't flown out of Baltimore instead of home, I would have sucked it up and ridden the Uly out to meet up with my wife. Maybe next year... |
