Gotta be Skyline! You can now buy the Skyline Oyster Crackers at the grocery now! Get a pack of Cincinnati Chili powder mix, tomato paste and hamburger meat and you're good to go! Now if I could just get LaRosa's Pizza..... Fubar - drop me an e-mail and I'll send you some chili packs.....ncgirl at earthlink dot net. |

Skyline is gross people. That's why it never did very well outside of Cincinnati. Not quite chili, not quite spaghetti sauce, not quite edible if you ask me. I do miss White Castle though. The grocery store frozen jobs just aren't the same. |

skyline has restaurants in Florida, and several in Northern Oh as well as all over KY. I love the stuff, guess it must be an acquired taste. |

Skyline is doing well in Central Ohio! As course we are the birthplace of Donato's, Wendy's, White Castle, Max & Erma's uh oh I better quit, I am getting hungry! I think we will also claim inventing the candy BUCKEYES! |

Also Peanut Butter Balls are called Buckeyes in Ohio. I still call them that and everyone around here just looks at me funny. "What's a buckeye?" Ha, I think we have thoroughly hi-jacked this thread. 1. Skyline 2. GoldStar In my book anyway. So did everyone put down as the best and worst about the Uly? |

crystal burgers are the equivalent in the south. Not sure if they have them in California. Might have to have a warning label on them out there, they need one for everything else. |

I'm certain that White Castles would have to have a warning label in California. I bet they wouldn't pass CARB standards. I know that the air quality around me deteriorates when I eat them. (Message edited by Crusty on October 01, 2006) |

For sure those burgers here in CA would have to come with warning labels, carbon canisters, AND be registered as assault weapons! |

WHAT! Some of you guys do not know what sliders are? Boy are you missing out on some fun. Look what just mentioning them on this thread has done! |
