Installing Symtec heated grips tonight. Which wire is recommended to grab power? Instructions call for tapping into headlight, dashlight, etc. I'm concerned if I tap into the cigarette power outlet i could meltdown when running my heated vest at the same time. I plan to hardwire: 1. heated grips 2. radar detector 3. I used it because it is turned off with the key. It has worked well so far.
