Seems folks are getting a bit testy. Is it 'cause the leaves are falling? |

Get some heated clothing and riding in the cold is no problem...it is really quite fun..people look at you and they think you are nuts. They don't know I am toasty warm. I draw the line with the chance of ice. |

The best 8 months of the riding season are just starting, no longer do I have to sweat to death in 100+ degree heat |

No doubt, I have end of season crabbyness. (End of 110 degree days, that is!) (Message edited by BirdmanRH on September 18, 2006) |

Riding season doesn't end here until the ice forms or snow flies. Love the Southwest weather. |

No one told me I was supposed to quit riding. Dern it, I'll have to send back the winter gloves I just ordered! |

I love my heated grips and electric vest. I've kept up my daily commute till mid november the last 3 years in Northern Mn. I know we're probably due for an early winter but I don't give in till i'm leaving tracks in the snow. I've been lucky I haven't been caught in weather I could'nt make it home in yet. I should probably stop pressing my luck. I still sneak my bike out for a ride whenever the weather permits in the winter. Thats probably why my muffler rusted so bad. Tim |
