Suppose the other option is to run it off the battery tender plug using a different adapter. anyone done this? which one is better?   Chris_in_tn Posted on Monday, September 18, 2006 - 03:20 pm:        I plan on running mine off the battery tender plug as you mention.   Adrian_8 Posted on Monday, September 18, 2006 - 03:31 pm:        I have a Gerbing heated Jacket and Gloves...I tried running if off the battery tender but it blew the fuse as it is rated too low..You can run the plug adapter straight off the battery like I do on the Harley or use cigarette plug on the ULY which handles it fine..Basically the battery tender wire won't handle it.   Dfishman Posted on Monday, September 18, 2006 - 04:17 pm:        Use the gerbing harness on the battery & you can plug your battery tender right into it.Been using this setup for 6 yrs now.
