I'm selling my Ulysses if anyone is interested, or knows anyone who is. Excellent condition, 24k miles, great tires, factory hard bags, low seat, piaa lights, muller easy clutch, tank bag. Lyndall brake pads.$7900 O.B.O. call me at 909-896-4994 or email wildhwg@msn.com for pics and more info. Only problems i've had is the cooling fan being replaced under warranty. I'm taking it in for the kick stand recall. Just did oil change and clutch adjust. The bike never let me down, but it's time to move on. |

Howdy! I am curious about how the Muller Easy Clutch pull effort compares with the stock Ulysses clutch pull effort. I am not unsatisfied with the Ulysses stock clutch pull, but I am always curious about modifications. A couple of weeks ago a local dealer was dumping one, still in the shrink wrap, for about $75. I looked at it as a "Good Deal", but I left it there. I thought "Why bother"? Did I miss out on a great upgrade? Inquiring minds want to know! |

Well i'm really up in the air right now as to what i'm going to get. It's probably going to be two bikes, a touring bike and a play bike. I put 30k on a V-strom 1000 and loved it until i saw the Ulysses. My wife has the 650 Strom and i think it is a better bike than the 1000. 40lb lighter 60mpg around town and cruise a 100mph and get 40mpg. with some tourtech bags and some crash bars should be great. As for the fun bike, this is where i'm loosing my mind. First i wanted a speed triple, then i saw the spy photo's of the new tiger (both triumph), but i just saw on the KTM site that they may be bringing the super duke to the states and of course they have the 950 supermoto. So right now i'm thinking my head is going to detonate before i can make a decision. As for the easy clutch, it's worth the money. It makes the pull about 20%-25% lighter, and if you can get it for $75 it's a bargin. |
