Can the header be removed without rotating the engine down?

Any issues if it can?

That'a a question I'd like to know also since I just bought a ceramic coated header that I want to put on. On a quick look I don't think it can be done without rotating the engine but it may be possible to reach the rear flange nuts from the top after taking off the airbox.

Anybody here changed out the headers yet?

Just rotate the engine. It isn't hard at all. You don't need to disconnect all that much, and if it is to take off a header, you're already removing the muffler anyway. The number of additional fasteners to remove is not that many. Once you do it once, you'll not fear it, it is quite simple.
