Court, since you have the inside track on all things Buell, how about finding us out the difference between 06'vs 07' oil pump performance specs. The whys and wherefores, volumes and pressures. This should be easy for a man of your Buell connections. Was rear cylinder cooling a consideration and if so, what gains were made with the 07' oil pump assembly?? |

I thought it was a legitimate question. What's the big secret? Or maybe Court doesn't really know and can't find out; which would validate his answer. I don't think he deserved a ration of #^*! for that. BC Steve |

Guys, Court has a job it isn't for Buell. Give him a little time when asking him for info. Not everything in this world is instant. If anyone can find out its probably Court and I bet he is working on getting you the right answer. |

The new pump puts out the exact same oil pressure as the older pumps. |

Well we know what it looks like and we know that it costs 184 bucks but we have no idea why we should buy it. |

Improved scavenging, which might be important if you run your bike at high rpms for prolonged periods, you know, like on a race track. It helps prevent wet sumping which can put a serious drag on your engine robbing power output. I'm just guessing though. |

Actually it makes the orange ones capable of warp drive, thereby solving the argument over which one is faster. |

it's "new and improved" From everything I have seen Blake has it right. Is it worth upgrading on an existing bike? I don't think so but as always YMMV |
