Great review Lowflyer. Thanks!!

My review for the under seat storage bag:
Fits under the seat and you can put stuff in it.

Okay, I felt guilty so I took a few pics to share. If you are familiar with the older XB tank bag, you will know the general look and feel of this one as it is not a whole lot different. It is black; not that queer grayish color and it has more pockets.

And some more because everybody loves pictures...

The map case is detachable.

It has loops for pens, pencils, or bullets if you wish.

The dividers are mobile.

Yes, it is expandable

Does anyone make a tank bag that is smaller? I only need to hold a few tools and my gate and garage door openers. I don't want something that huge on there all the time. It would be great for trips, but way too much for commuting to work.

Thanks,
Joel

Just picked up mine today, AND my '07 seat . And I had just dropped in to see whether my Traction grips had arrived!

This surprised me since I had canceled my original order for the standard tank bag a few weeks ago after a 3-month wait, and I figured Buell would be using all the '07 seats available for new production.

Although the bag is a little smaller than I expected it is better than I expected.

I will post in a minute though my frustration over Buell accessories that don't fit...

Overall though I'm very pleased with it.

Kidding by the way!

I use this one for smaller items:

Cortech makes a small strap-on TB for about $55. Though, this one is comfortable enough to ride with I won't mind commuting with it.

Joel,

If you are looking for a smaller bag, you might want to check out the Chase Harper 750 Compact (Compac). I have one, and I wrote about it in response to a Thread at AdvRider.

Have Fun!

Lowflyer,

Is that the 276C or the 376C? I am looking for a GPS and was wondering about how folks liked that model.

It's an experimental model based on the 196. People love the 276 and 376.

Just back from a five day 1200+ mile trip with 300 more planned tomorrow.. the tank bag is the ticket. what a great addition.. well thought out ...I didn't have to open the side cases at all during the journey.. I would rather stub my toe on furniture than run the risk of breaking another latch(which i did before leaving the cabin).. the removable compartment walls are great..changed configuration a few times .. ended up with a 2L dromedary bag in it 3/4 full with plenty of room to spare.. one thing happened though.. two of the 'snap-tite' grommets failed.. its no biggie but i will call tomorrow and see if i can get a handful of them mailed to me...I damm sure won't give that bag up though... Good job Eric.}

Zumo is good too. It's designed specifically for motorcycling. It even comes with a Ram Mount. I like the x96-series because I can take it from the car to the bike to the boat to the airplane. It works equally well in all applications.
