I think some of the dealers have the same problems with Buell c/s that we the owners have... I feel for them too...
we are family right? |

I have no problems with Buell's Customer Service, and haven't whenever I've called them. I have had problems with a couple of dealers, however. |

YES, bike is done! I called delearship today at 11:00. Bike was done yesterday?? I wonder when they would have called me??
Anyway, new side stand, stator and battery. I asked about reg. but they said it checked out OK. I mentioned potential hidden damage from stator failure and I didn't want to be stranded again. They said it checked out fine. HA
I probably will buy a spare reg. just in case.
They said the stator is not a Sportster part but a Buell specific part, is that correct?? Still, bike in Aug. 20 and back Sept. 7 for these fixes seems a bit long.

I have been riding my Bourget and Road King but I have to admit I really missed the ULY. It is the best all around bike I have ever owned. I swear they'd sell a boat load of these things (Buells) if a solid dealership network existed.

Frank, it's ironic that last Sunday I was talking to a guy at Main Street Station who claimed to be a Buell Master Tech at Seminole HD. He saw my XB12R and informed me if I needed anything done that he and another Buell M.T. had the Buell thing going there. Ooooooooopppppppppsss |

Hey Al,
I picked up ULY today at 3:00. Nice to ride it again. My thing wasn't a tech issue but a parts issue. Drop bike off and they then order the side stand parts. No work on bike until parts come in. Then they work on bike again and figure out stator is cause of charging problem. Stator must be ordered too. Seems like if parts were present it would have been a 2 1/2 day job instead of a 2 1/2 week job.
