I also posted this in the XB section. I went to make a front shock pre-load adjustment this evening and it turned very hard and made a awful sounding screeching noise. I had a 10k fork service done about 1,500 miles ago. Last time I made an adjustment, it turned very smooth. This was only on the left fork. The right turned nice and smooth. It's almost like it needs lubrication. Any comments, advise? Thanks . . . Chris |

Sounds like the adjuster may have been damaged during the service. They should turn firm and smooth. I'd go back and discuss it with the dealership. |
