Anyone have recommendations on how to remove the airbox emblems without damaging the paint? My airbox has the "Buell" emblem and another right below it that says something like "an american sport bike". The latter is bubbling and I'd rather just get rid of it rather than fix it.

Looking at the gallery for the Uly (on the Canadian site at least) I don't see this smaller emblem there anymore... just the company name emblem. It's still visible in some of the accessory shots though (like the tall windshield pic). Is this a way of easily identifying 2006 vs. 2007 Uly's?

At any rate, I just want to peal mine off. I'd thought maybe a hair dryer (or leave it in the sun for a while) would make the adhesive easier to peel. Then use something like Goof Off to clean up the residue.

Any suggustions?

Get it hot, then use fishing line.

You have the right approach. Did it the same way with excellent results. Used Goo-Gone to clean up the little remaining residue.

Line/floss is really not necessary. Just a slow pull on a warm emblem works and leaves little gunk behind.

I used a fingernail to peel the badges and some lighter fluid to remove the gunk.

Why wouldn't you just use heavier fluid instead. LOL

ALL my stickers peeled right off, no hair dryer or anything. Was sort of weird how easy it was. Watched another guy doing it in the parking lot at the HD dealer... he was struggling

Are you talking about the stickers on the frame/swingarm, or the Buell emblem on the tank? I think they're talking about the latter here.

FWIW, my stickers (frame/swingarm) came right off as well. I was surprised as well, as the stickers on my SV were almost impossible to remove. If fact, I left a few on. Haven't tried the tank emblems yet, and probably won't.
