Having read comments by people bitching about the high seat height on a Ully I've just come across a new problem caused by being up there on high, increased risk of bird strike. Just took a pheasant full in the face at around 60 miles per while wearing an open face helmet and moto-X goggles (me you fool, not the bloody bird before any smart-arse comments), rammed me goggles down onto me nose, blood, shit and feathers everywhere (again, just to make it clear, the shit and feathers were the birds (well, mostly)). My wife, on the pillion seat, reckons she suddenly saw a large set of wings appear either side of my helmet (stop sniggering) followed by one sorry pheasant bouncing down the road. One of my mates went back to look for it but the bleedin thing had somehow limped off so I didn't even get a free meal out of it, life can be a real bitch. |

Hunting without a license, wanton waste, using an illegal weapon, hummmm.. sounds like "you're going to jail, boy". |

But officer, it was self-defence. |

Always put two loads into a flying pheasant. Should have had your wife hit it as well, that would have put him in the pot. |

Also I think they could arrest the pheasant for public de-facement. |

A bird in the face is worth two in the bush... |

Wow, the riding might be a challenge, but I need to start hunting where you do your riding... |
