Anyone taken the headlight assembly apart?

Want to take the UK/Aussie Low Beam lens, and add it to a US Low Beam Lens, to have a low beam spread light only.

Looks like the headlight assembly is sealed with silicon/glue, with four (4) tabs that seal the headlight shell together.

Any success taking one apart?

Thanks

I was thinking about doing two low beams and aux. HID lights for the high beams. What is the difference between the UK low beam and the US low beam?

Pattern

Driving on the right vs driving on the left.

Thanks

Let me see if I have this right, take both assemblies apart, split the reflector housings, mate the left from the US and the Right from the UK.

Jumper the wires in the switch. We now have two (2) driving (low) beam light patterns.

Add HID Driving light with an auxillary switch.

Total control over lights.

Thanks
