Author Message   Electraglider_1997 Posted on Thursday, June 22, 2006 - 04:48 pm:        I've been riding the last couple of weeks without any shield at all. Just around town and no more than 60mph. Pretty warm here in Omaha, Nebraska and the wind is clean and buffet free except for the buffeting caused by the helmet straps by my ears. It's a DOT approved 1/2 helmet. Just too hot for the full face helmet. Can't see taking any long trips this way, but for around town it sure feels nice. Best I can describe it is more wind BUT less buffetting. Feels nice.
