Well tried my first long trip with the Uly last Thursday. Did end good though and it only lasted about a mile. here is a link to the results.

I'm ok except for a few bruises and a sore back. Good riding gear is all I can say.

Took a corner too fast and not paying close attention to the surface and went into the ditch then to the tree line. I came off after hitting the first set of bushes. The bags saved the sides of the bike and to my surprise are in good shape. Still work and mount correctly. A few scratches but I can live with them. Need the front fixed though.

Hope to try the trip at the end of July. To a better finish I hope.

Brian

Those bags do hold up well. If it's the black surface that needs work, we did that with some fine grit wet sand paper and shoe polish. We also had to replace the rubber bumper on the side of the bag.

Glad you were wearing gear. Bikes can be fixed, bodies take a bit longer to heal. Take it easy and hope you feel better soon.
