Something is not right. These bikes are glass smooth at that rpm, no matter what load on them.

I get an intermitten vibration on mine when I fill the tank. I'm thinking now that it may be something to do with the fuel pump. Lasts for about 30-40 miles.a

Check your front isolator (vibration dampener). If it has torn, It can cause engine vibrations to be transmitted to the frame where you will feel it in the seat and pegs.

Mine does this under hard compression of the rear shock when two-up but is fine when I'm on it alone. The way the motor/rear swingarm assembly hangs in the frame puts a lot of stress on that single isolator under hard compression of the rear shock because it all tries to pivot on the rear isolators.

It is a pretty good update from the tube-frame setup and I know they have engineered most of the vibes out of the frame. Any stiffer on the isolator, or one that is torn and bottoms and you'd have a lot more vibes getting to the seat of your pants.

A tank of gas shouldn't make much difference at all so I would suspect the problem will be very noticeable upon visual inspection. If it's not the front one then check out the rear ones. That may require some dissasembly to see them though.
