Got the laptop to connect to the bike after about 1.5hrs and reset my TPS this evening. I don't think the dealer reset it at the 1K service,,, Got the throttle to stick OK and no problems with the reset.. Started the bike and began the warm up to set RPM and my temp gage on the software only goes to 250... I idle'd it until the fan came on and set the idle. Gage in software was only showing about 220.. Took it for a run and runs much better.. I did the ECM selection thing during connection and it shows "VDOEFI" Is this normal? MB |

Yes, the VDO-EFI is the designation for the Buell system. Go to your option window and select English. It is most likely set on metric. You are reading C instead of F. F goes to 500! (Message edited by davo on June 14, 2006) |

Engine off parameters for the fan are 338 F fan on and 302 F for fan off. Engine on fan on is 428 F and fan off is at 356 F...... 220 C= 428 F. (Message edited by davo on June 13, 2006) (Message edited by davo on June 13, 2006) |
