The Mokie Dugway is Hwy 261 North out of Mexican Hat, UT. From the South you approach an incredible vertical wall of Earth that you cannot imagine a road going up..but it does..gravel in the straights and paved in the switchbacks..an old Indian road..best rode south to north. Really quite unique..

Where was the high altitude pass? It looks likes the Beartooth Pass between Red Lodge and Cooke City in Montana...

No matter where it was though, I'm more than a little jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are correct.. the Beartooth Pass which as you know is between Cooke City and Red Lodge, Mt..quite spetacular..the ski lift was still running last week and kids were snowboarding close the the road.
