We started in KS, to avoid the 1600 round trip from southern Indiana. We left Monday May 29 and returned to Indiana June 12. We rode the bikes 12 days, with all days but one being two lane roads. The total mileage on the bikes was 4617. The ULY and the R1200GA had no problems but a nail in the GS rear tire. The ULY used about 12 oz of Mobil 1 15/50.

The GS rider must be a very good friend to tolerate being seen with a lowly Buell [just kidding].

We had a great time..I could have posted a pic of the GS on its' side..but could not bring myself to do it.....we were even ..two dropped bikes...no damage.

I think you overlooked Montana in the list of states visited based on your pics in the other post.

Awesome trip anyway you look at it. I think most of us are jealous right about now!
