BadWebbers, I have been watching with interest as Caribou Luggage Systems has been developing panniers for motorcycles based on Pelican cases. These are really slick and have have the following features: 1. Easy on/off 2. Easy one key locking 3. A nicely designed frame that looks good when the bags are off !! 4. Lightweight easily replaceable and very durable Pelican case bags Check them out at: http://adventure-motorcycle.com/store/?name=Home I like the factory Buell bags but they are too fat for my taste and the Caribou System looks more durable. Roger Pioszak from Adventure Motorcycle Equipment is looking for someone with a Buell Ulysses in the Denver / Boulder area to work with him in developing the racks for a Uly. Anyone interested????? I live in Denver Colorado, do about 2000 miles a month on my Ulysses with the factory bags now. I would hate to lose my top box but would be willing to help if you have no one else volunteer. | ||

Panhead Dan, Roger needs the bike to fabricate the brackets. Therefore he can't bring his shop to Oregon so we need someone in CO who can let Roger measure, fabricate, and fit the brackets to a Uly. Brad 1445, Not sure if you want to take the time to do this since you already have the factory bags and probably aren't interested in changing out??? If you are, please contact Roger and start the project. Anyone else out there in CO who has a Uly to loan to Roger on an occasional basis to get the brackets fabricated and wants to go with the Caribou Luggage ??? | ||

Bump. I saw a writeup about Caribou Cases on Advrider and liked what I saw. I e-mailed Roger recently and asked if he had anything available for a Uly. He replied later that day saying he's interested in developing a Pelican-based Caribou Case system for us, but he has been unable to get a Uly into his shop for fitting and testing. | ||
