Upon arriving home tonight I noticed that the front header pipe was "going orange" to the first bend. The rear header had a little glow but was not as hot as the front. Is this normal for this type of header? | ||

And the black Uly headers glow orange because of their inner beauty trying to get out.  | ||

Chad Chad Chad. Mine have not glowed orange as of this date. The reason, are you ready for this....... ........ ....... ..... .... .. . The Black ones are cool. The Orange ones just drool. And if you bought the wrong color. You must be the fool. Have a great day all you Buellers. | ||

Thunderbox, If you think the black ones are cool, you must have fallen into the pool, in which case you are wetter than the ORANGE one's drool. BTW, have a black day pool boy!  | ||

Once you go Black you never go back. Now that saying is older than the Buell line up is. Once you go black You never go back. Once you go orange Well you're just orange and you have to live with it for the rest of your life and that is all I have to say about this topic and this is starting to be a run on sentence but what the heck you guys all know what a person means when he speaks so don't be making no fun of the black cause we are the cool who rule. | ||

Some how I knew the color thing would get fired up again. If I hadn't put the word orange in the title I know there would have been fewer viewers. Thanks for the feed back. It was a little freaky to see the pipes going orange. So now the bike's fan sounds like a reactor and the orange pipes reinforce the reactor theme! Very cool!! | ||
