Well I am probably the first one to put a dent in my frame. It was poring down rain after work yesterday. I decided instead of arranging someone to pick me up at the dealer an hour from home I would swallow my pride and haul it down. Needless to say a strap broke (long story with lots of cussing) and the Ulysses fell over on the steel fender putting a nice dent in the frame. I will probably have the local body shop bondo it and paint it to match. I am not going to replace the frame for one small dent. All of this for a warranty job on a $20 license plate light.

Ouch that hurts. One good thing is it could have been a lot worse my friend. At least it can still be ridden. No serious or any damage that will cause an issue while driving or later on.

Sorry to hear this. Make sure she is secure next time is all one can say.

Nothing serious, just one decal and a dent. From now on my straps will never be loaned out again! I rarely haul my bike, if it is running; I will ride it 99% of the time. The Ulysses and I have travled180 miles on the trailer back and forth to the dealer and 7,200 miles riding. I wanted to take the broken light off and bring it to the dealer along with my front tire to be changed. They said they couldn't warranty the light if they didn't change it. I should have just paid for the light and left my bike home in the garage.

Hey, it's an adventure bike. It's not a dent, it's a memento!
