Bad vibration thru my foot pegs between 3800 and 4000 RPM's .... What could it be?

I've noticed a sudden increase in vibrations felt through the foot pegs in that same RPM range, but wouldn't describe it as bad....just noticeable.

Could it be the engine mounts

I think a couple of people have run into this before, and in both cases, I think the primary chain tension was out of spec...

Does that ring a bell with anyone?

The primary chain being too loose definitely causes an increase in vibrations on my S3. Easy to check and correct; I'd look there first.

I've heard that a loose primary will cause shifting issues too. My Uly only has 3300 miles on it, and when I last checked my primary chain, it was fine.
