Just put my Special Ops Tailgunner on tonight. Took a little over an hour to change pipe. Wow! My wife loves the sound! I had mixed feelings after the first ride as I've put 2500 mi. on the stock pipe and love the bike. I've gradually been going quieter with my pipes. Thunderheader on my FXR with cam and headwork was loud! Supertrapp slip ons on my bagger were mellow. The stock Uly is nearly mute but I was kinda diggin' it. After a few miles of the ECM learning the Special Ops parameters, the bike really began to smooth out down low and was easier to ride. I am also watching my speed a little closer because of the added sound. It really does sound nice. I need to buy some new earplugs, but I think I'm going to like it. Tim |

Thanks Odie, the finish on the pipe was great. It looks as good as it sounds. Can't wait to ride tomorrow. Tim |

I really liked the sound of my Special Ops pipe. Odie makes a quality product. However, I wanted the Race ECM to richen up my A/F mixture, so I put the Race pipe with it since it doesn't have the interactive valve. The Special Ops pipe is definitely louder and sounds better to me. I kinda feel like I'm back in stealth mode (like with the stock pipe). |

I love the way my Tailgunner sounds. It always gets a thumbs up from Harley riders and a million questions from Buell riders. |
