She just called me at work. "What did you do take the Buell today? I didnt hear you leave. You know I really dont like that that motorcycle being so quiet."
My response, "Well dear the Tooth Fairy (dentist) just stole all my muffler money."

I'm almost ok with its sound. I wonder if Odie would consider making a 1/2 loud spec muffler. Just enough to give it some "grumble" for the lack of a better word.

I think allot of riders would be lining up for an "in between" sounds exhaust system. I just bought the race kit, but still haven't got it hung... Odds are I will wish it was somewhat quieter that it is going to be, but I know I want a little more sound than the stocker...

Your "1/2 loud spec" idea would probably sell really, really, well.

I think Odie's "Stealth" muffler fits that bill. He did his usual magic and then reinstalled the stock end-cap. If believe that he told me it was quieter that his standard set-up. I've been riding with my "Tailgunner" for about a month now and it's not too loud at all. Even on a highway drone.

At the risk of sounding totally uninformed, I have to ask... Who is Odie? At least by my asking he (or his company) can get credit for building what will probably be the right answer for allot of XB riders looking for "a little" more sound!

Thanks! I had heard of Special Ops, but just didn't connect the Odie name. Sure sounds like he's on to what should probably be a popular exhaust option for sure.

Again, sorry about being uninformed!

Actually, I am working with a customer in Texas at the moment on a few changes sound-wise to make pipes a little quieter for folks that want it that way. I should know something in a few weeks after one or two pipes are built. This is Odie...

I'd be glad to help with testing.

The neighbor added his two cents about not having his alarm clock. I cant figure out if he's serious in the fact he relys on my bike to keep him on track in the morning.
