Hey Dave sorry it took so long to get back to you but my computer blew a modem. As for hotels the comfort inn is right next to Romagnoli's restaurant and bar.The Timbers motor Lodge is in town and across the street from Fontanas. Both hotels and restaurants are nice places to stay and eat.I'm not sure how many people are coming but both restaurants should have enough capacity.And you can walk to either hotel after dinner. |

I got the wrap on's from Cali sport touring with the nice looking round switch, rather than the chrome toggle.
Chad has picts here. I put mine under the "traction" grips from Buell.

Well, read thru this whole thread. Let me say, Dave, I think this is a great deal you've put together for new Buell owners. Love the idea of factory tour and meeting EB!
I've begun to covet the Uly, but not really in the market yet. I will certainly watch the site for next years promo, if there is one.
BTW, is the ride on Sat/sun open to non buell owners? I'm only an hour away and may be able to shoot over for a day. Meet some new people, etc. |

I am leaning towards going with The America's Best Hotel.
I haven't committed yet but the mgr there seems really cool about a bunch of mangy Buellers invading his place.
Any of you locals know of any reason not to use this place?
Rates look pretty good
49.00 for a room with 2 people,1 bed
53.96 for a room for 2 people with 2 queen beds
They have high speed internet so we can post pictures. Bring your laptops and digital cameras
Are any of you planning on doubling up with others to save on the room?
I already have a room mate(my wife Kandie) joining me.
If some of you want to share a room it would only be 27.00 each.
I will let you all know for sure if this is the place and then I will post the phone number and what you need to tell them to get the deal rate.
I will also have a hotel lined up for you in Appleton soon.

Is that the hotel for Iron Mountain. I will be sharing a room with a budy that will be riding up with me. He wants to see what the uly is capable of and how he fits on it. He looked at the motorcycle show, but felt they were to tall, so I talked him into coming up there with me to talk to you. |

Hey Dave Americas best should be a good place.Lots of parking and the Holiday kitchen is right next door,good food and Coach's bar is in same building(no riding)too.There is also a gas station across the street.If there is any thing you need just let me know. |

If you want to join in the group, a group of us will be leaving st.johns friday morning to head up there. On the return, we will be riding back on sunday to rose lake, just south of cadillac, then finishing the ride on monday. |

Sure would like to see a lot of photos from the get together posted. I've still got at least a couple of weeks of recovery left because of rotator cuff surgery I endured on March 1. My bikes await my return. |

Be at the factory at 10:00
Or be in Appleton at the dealership by 8am
We will be leaving Appleton shortly after 8am and get to East Troy about 10:30
Lunch will be at about 12:00 at Gus' Drive in.
It is on the west edge of East Troy

I'm working in Iron Mtn on Tuesday night and Wednesday. I will be down by the Lobdell plant in Kinghsford, and by the CarQuest on the west end. KMART for coffee on Wednesday morning with the old guys. Maybe we could meet and pray for warm weather!

I will be in town the 6th sometime late. I will be riding in with swampy from his house. Not sure if I will be up for any more riding that night or not, but we will see. How well do nextel phones work up there in that area? Just wondering if I should bring my phone or the wifes for the weekend. |
