The gaskets on my bags don't stay in place. The "tongue" that is supposed to hold the gasket in place is only 1/8 - 1/4 inch long and pops out easily.

Anyone have this problem and have fixed it? Permatex? Warranty issue-revised gasket?

(I thought I saw a thread on this but can't find it.)

I'd be curious as to the cure...my rubber gaskets always pop out too.

Sounds like a job for Weldwood Contact Cement. That is much like rubber cement. You clean both surfaces (alcohol is good), put a light coat of cement on both surfaces, when it is dry to the touch bring the two surfaces in to perfect alignment and then into contact.

On really tricky stuff you can use a piece of wax paper to avoid contact while getting into alignment and then slide the wax paper out.

Thanks, Court!

I didn't want to muck up the bags with adhesives if someone was coming out with a clean, proper fix for the problem.

Dave, thanks for the link. I was searching for "gasket" instead of "seal."

According to that thread Court has a solution for the loose seals. Do we need to email Court privately for the solution or can this be posted?

Great, seeing the same issues with mine. Looking forward to a workable solution...
