So at the end of a frigid ride, while turning onto my totally ice and snow covered driveway, my Uly slipped out from under my feet. Luckily, my feet were already on the ground (I'm 6'7") so the only thing hurt is the gear shifter on the bike. I want the Touratech shifter (to prevent further injury), but when I tried to order it, I found out it is still not available. Are there any other versions of folding shifters out there? How much does a stock gear shifter cost? DaveS?
On the bright side of this, I used this oppurtunity to get drunk while sitting at the computer and do some shopping so as to "pimp my ride"!
Here's my list of ULY additives:
-Drummer SS with steel stiffener plate
-American Sport Bike open airbox with K&N filter and catch can
-Buell race ECM with tps reset software
-heated grips
-Cee Baileys +2.5" in 3 different colors (will keep 1 of 3)
-some random tools to work on her

Can't wait to be up and riding!!!

Solarbri, Glad you didn't get hurt in your spill.

Confucious say, "Motorcyclist who ride in the rain wear rain gear but motorcyclist who ride on the ice wear plaster for 6 to 8 weeks"

Keep the rubber side down.
