I just wanted to say "thanks" to the general collective here on BadWeb (in particular, the Ulysses group). This is the most helpful, most positive, least offensive forum that I've ever frequented. Not trying to start a "mutual admiration society" or anything, but I always enjoy checking the happenings here while I eat lunch, and on the few times I've posted something here there has always been a very civil, helpful discussion.

Thank you.

Hey doc, Blake and I are dukin' it out over in the Harbor Freight thread.

Seriously, I have felt the same way. Although sometimes I get myself in trouble. I don't know if the feeling would be mutual, but I would have a beer with anyone in here so long as it is a Guinness(I am not sure that everybody likes Guinness).

Guinness sucks! Summit however rules!

Let the flames begin!

Dr, your right, there are some GREAT folks here and tons of good info.

Lowflyer: guinness rocks : ) My wife thinks so also. Nothing better then watching this small little asian girl go up to the bar and order a guinness, always gets some looks. Although when going out have been getting Swithwicks lately.

That and I have to agree this forum is great. Despite the occasional flame wars (they happen every where though, and my asbestos underwear works very well. )

I am a homebrewer also, but I am not practicing at the moment. My license was revoked by my better half after everything in our garage was inexplicably drenched in a very nice Lowflyer Cream Stout. I am a huge fan of pale ales; especially IPAs.

No, I was being genuine...guess I haven't been involved in any of the flamewars...don't have the stomach for it. Goodness knows that any collection of motorcycle enthusiasts will result in a plethora of discussions at all levels of civility. MHO is that the signal/noise ratio here is very high. And any sign of civility these days is good news!

Lowflyer: You don't have Beast, IE Milwaukee's Best?

Nasty stuff, but makes pretty decent hamburgers. Used to make Beast Burgers in High School. Really fatty Hamburger meat, doused in Beast to help cut down the grease fires : )
