Anyone use Axle Crash Sliders/Bobbins on their Uly? I've found a few sources for them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8035860526&rd=1&sspagename=ST RK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 http://uk.geocities.com/miscellania@btinternet.com/html/crash_bobbins.html An outfit called AussieBuellRiders also advertises an aluminum set Any preferences - polymer or aluminum? Will they work as claimed or are they just for show? Thanks. (Message edited by clang on February 05, 2006) |

We've got aluminum ones from Dark Horse Moto (one of the board sponsors): http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7889589&rnd=7516 756&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=9156&cat=&catstr= (see the front and spool lift ones by clicking the related products link) And the Sato Delrin ones: http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7889589&rnd=5306 936&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=9065&cat=&catstr=HOME Both types protect your bike in the case of a low slide slide, both will be destroyed cosmetically in the process. I don't think one material is better than the other for the given function. |

2 questions. Do they really help? And what's the difference between the $30 for 4 ones on ebay and the $100 americansportbike ones? |

I also sell the Darkhorse Moto ones Steve. And, you'll get 15% off since you are getting the bike from me. I am not familiar with the 30.00 for 4 ones. Are they aluminum too? |
